Miss Jiratchaya Ayawanna, a PhD student in Materials Science with an RGJ scholarship, is now doing her research on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells at Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. Jiratchaya has been in Japan since Feb 2010 and is due to come back to finish her thesis around the end of this year. Working among men is not easy, and it is even harder when communication is an issue. “I have gained substantially invaluable experience from doing research in Japan. I have hands-on to so many advanced tools and technology and this really is marvelous“, said Jiratchaya.
