M.Sc. (Biotechnology)

Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary program that uses the application of biological understanding to provide products that benefit society and support sustainable economic development. This program leads to a developing, build up the research area and obtain innovative knowledge which can apply for various areas such as agriculture, medicine, industry and environment. Here our aim is to educate students to become professionalism in both academics and ethics respect with the philosophy of the Mae Fah Luang University. We also aim to emphasis on a research-based development in fundamental and applied sciences which is accepted in both national and international level.

The Master of Science in Computational Science is designed to produce graduates who expert on research in computational science, a field consisting of the knowledge in science, apply mathematics, and computer including other relative fields, by using mathematical modeling or high performance computation to ascertain understanding which lead to optimum conditions and the prediction of the results.

M.Sc. (Materials Innovation)

The MSc program, which could lead to a PhD, encompasses a wide range of studies from fundamental to emerging concepts and technologies in Materials Science, aiming to provide the students with a solid foundation in the field of Materials Science and Technology. The students will be exposed to the latest advances in the field of Materials Science and Technology via a series of research colloquium. In addition, students will have an opportunity to conduct a short-term research in a stimulating research environment. After one year, providing that they pass the Qualifying Examination arranged by the School, MSc students with outstanding research performance or excellent academic record can be transferred to PhD program.

Chemistry is the foundation of other fields in sciences. Ph.D. (Materials Innovation)

Materials science involves with study of natural behaviour of materials in order to understand the relationship between their structures at different levels and physical properties. The underlying foundation of materials science is application of knowledge in fundamental science areas such as physics, chemistry and biology to explain behaviours of materials which leads to different applications. Our PhD training programme is a research-based programme in a specialised field of materials. Under completion of their degree, students must be able to conduct independent research to seek for novel knowledge and publish their new finding in the international level.
